We are focused on preparing for coding competitions such as the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) and Canadian Computing Competition (CCC). Moreover, we will provide opportunities to create and work on projects, providing invaluable experience for our members. Mechatronics Club | Monday & Tuesdays after school in Room 218 | Our club will be focused on learning, designing, and competing on everything related to mechatronics. This will include electronics, robotics, engineering, along with other STEM subjects. Mock Trials | Mondays after school room 213 | Our club’s mandate is to encourage students to learn about the Canadian legal system in a fun and interactive manner, with an emphasis on trials. Muslim Students Association | Fridays at lunch in Portable 10 | The Muslim Student Association (MSA) of Fraser Heights Secondary School, is a club that pushes to allow Muslim students of Fraser Heights to freely and comfortably practice their faith in School. Philosophy | Wednesdays afterschool Room 216 | In a typical Ethics Bowl meeting, students discuss and analyze case studies that involve political, social, or economic dilemmas. Students practice their public speaking and critical thinking skills by splitting up into two teams and proposing solutions to ethical issues. Coaches also train students on philosophical perspectives and speaking strategies, preparing them for upcoming competitions. | Ms. Balikis |
